These terms describe how orders, returns and refunds are handled when you make a purchase from www.sleepwithclementine.com. 

To return or exchange a product, visit the Clementine Sleepwear return portal. Be sure to have your order number as well as shipping zip code in order to access your order.
Start a Return.

There is sometimes a small fee to cover the shipping and handling on returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. As for exchanges, depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All returns are within 30 days of purchase.

Final sale
All products marked as final sale are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Pajamas, dresses, and clothing
For pajamas, dresses and clothing items, we accept returns within 30 days from purchase provided the product is in a re-sellable condition, tags are not removed, and the product has not been stained or damaged. Items must be unused and unwashed. We'll happily exchange sizes at no extra cost. When returning for a refund and the product has been tried on, we need to arrange for a steam clean before restocking, and in this case, we may deduct a once off fee of $20. This is deducted from the refunded amount. To be eligible for a return, your item needs be in the same condition that you received it - that way, we can easily restock it.

Sleep masks, pillowcases, caps, scrunchies, and bedding
We also accept returns on unused and unopened sleep masks, pillowcases, bedding, caps, and scrunchies within 30 days from purchase. For hygiene reasons, we can only accept returns on these particular products when they have been unworn and unused. This allows us to restock them to resell. Please keep this in mind. Return shipping costs can be the responsibility of the customer and are deducted from the final refund amount for ease. Items damaged in return transit are the responsibility of the customer. Use our returns platform for more information. 

Bonnets
At Clementine, we’re a US-based boutique brand working with one of the world’s most precious fabrics, silk. Every bonnet is handmade, and we’ve designed a policy that aims to be fair to you while also sustainable for our business.

- For XL sized bonnets
We offer a 100% refund on return where the bonnet is too small (within 30 days of purchase) - Note, this is limited to a maximum of 1 per person, all time. For all other return scenarios, we can only return if the bonnet has not been tried on. We also need to see photo evidence that the bonnet is too small. 

- For standard size bonnets
If your bonnet doesn’t fit after trying on (within 30 days of purchase)
We understand how frustrating it can be when something doesn’t fit quite right. Because this is a personal care item, for hygiene reasons, we cannot resell bonnets that have been worn or tried on—even briefly—however, we do offer the following options:

  • 50% refund upon return OR

  • 70% credit of your purchase toward an upgrade to our XL bonnet, upon return

All worn bonnets are steam-cleaned and donated to charities that support women in need. To be eligible for a refund or credit, the bonnet must be returned to us and pass an inspection to confirm there’s no damage. We’re happy to provide a return label to make the process easy.

If using the credit offer to upgrade to an XL Bonnet, please note that the XL Bonnet in this instance will not be eligible for a return.

If the bonnet has been worn overnight
Once a bonnet has been worn overnight, we’re unfortunately unable to accept a return. However, we have several helpful videos with tips to address common concerns like tightness, overall looseness, or slipping off during the night.

Please note, in the case that any return is not in a re-saleable or acceptable condition, item will be discarded or returned to customer at customer's expense. 

Faulty or damaged
We offer free of charge exchanges on products which are faulty or damaged upon receipt. Please reach out to initiate a replacement or return within 30 days of purchase.

Bride boxes
Please note we cannot offer returns or refunds on Bride Box sales which are not faulty. 

Packaging
Lastly, we consider the box part of the product, please ensure it is in re-sellable condition to avoid any return rejections.

Order cancellations
We want you to feel confident when you shop with us. You may cancel any order at any time before it is fulfilled. Simply use the cancellation option in your order confirmation email or account, or reach out to us at hi@sleepwithclementine.com. Once your cancellation is confirmed, we will refund your original payment method within 14 days.

If you are located in the European Union, you also have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order (the "cooling-off period"), in accordance with EU Directive 2023/2673. Our cancellation policy above already exceeds this requirement, but we want to make sure you're aware of your rights.

Return process
We generate a label for you to ensure that the return can be tracked in our system. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you the status of your refund approval and when it will be processed back to the form of payment. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 7 business days, often sooner. Check with your credit card or bank to make sure the issue is not on their end if you have not received the refund within 14 days. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hi@sleepwithclementine.com. We're always here to help. 

International customers may be responsible for their own shipping back to Clementine in USA. Please reach out to hi@sleepwithclementine.com to coordinate with addresses, if our return system flags any issues.

Please note, US customers who ship back their product using their own label may be sending it to the wrong location. We can't take responsibility for this because it can be very hard for us to track and find it if there is no return case set up. Returns may not be accepted if own-label.

Returns on orders containing gifts with purchase
To qualify for a Gift with Purchase (GWP), your order must meet the minimum spend requirement (or as otherwise stated) after any discounts are applied. If a return causes your order total to fall below this threshold, please include the unopened gift with your return. If the gift is not returned or has been used, its full retail value will be deducted from your final refund. Please keep this in mind when returning. 

 

REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you the status of your refund approval and when it will be processed back to the form of payment. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 7 business days, often sooner. Check with your credit card or bank to make sure the issue is not on their end if you have not received the refund within 14 days. There are certain situations where no or only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Obvious signs of use that restrict our ability to restock and resell
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

 

PRE-ORDER TERMS

When available, Pre ordering will be accessible on products which are coming soon or out of stock and on backorder. By placing a pre-order with Clementine, you agree to the following terms:

Full Payment:
The full amount for pre-ordered items is charged at the time of purchase. This amount is refundable upon cancellation at any time before the product is shipped from Clementine. 

Stock Availability:
Pre-order items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. By pre-ordering, you receive priority shipping once the product is back in stock, in order of first-come. We make every effort to fulfill all pre-orders; however, in the rare event that we are unable to deliver your item indefinitely, you will be offered a full refund or the option to receive store credit. You can also in the rare event that pre-orders exceed stock, wait for the item to be restocked shortly. 

Delivery Timeline:
Pre-order items will ship when back in stock. While we strive to restock items promptly, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

Cancellation and Refunds:
Pre-orders are fully refundable if canceled prior to shipment. To request a cancellation, please email us at hi@sleepwithclementine.com. Once a pre-order has shipped, our standard return policy will apply.

Customer Communication:
We strive to ensure you receive the following communication: 

- Confirmation of your pre-order at the time of purchase.
- Notification when your item is back in stock and entering fulfillment.
- Shipping confirmation email with tracking information once order is dispatched.
- A delivery confirmation email when your order has been delivered.

Product Consistency:
Pre-order items will match the product descriptions and images provided at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise on the pre-order product page or in email communications, no changes will be made to the design, materials, or features..

GIFTS WITH PURCHASE

From time to time, Clementine offers Gifts with purchase to qualifying orders. These offers are valid for a limited time or while stocks last. Minimum spend or order threshold must be met in a single transaction, after discounts, and before taxes/shipping. If the qualifying items are returned, the gift must also be returned in its original, unopened packaging. If the gift is not returned, the retail value of the gift (as listed on our site) will be deducted from the refund total.

THE MEMBERS CLUB (LOYALTY PROGRAM) TERMS OF SERVICE

Introduction
By participating in our Loyalty Program whether with via a manual opt-in or via auto-enrolment from a purchase (the "Program"), you consent to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), including any updates or amendments made hereto as well as our Privacy Policy. Should you disagree with any part of these Terms or our Privacy Policy, your sole recourse is to discontinue participation in the Program by reaching out to us at the contact details below. Participation in the Program constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms, which participants affirm to have read and understood prior to engagement. It remains the responsibility of each participant to apprise themselves of the Terms herein and any amendments thereto.

Eligibility Criteria
Participation in the Program is contingent upon being at least 18 years of age. The Program is void where prohibited by law or any regulatory framework, and it is incumbent upon participants to ensure their eligibility within the confines of local laws and regulations.

Mechanics of the Program
Upon joining the Program, participants will accrue points or rewards ("Rewards") based on qualifying activities, which include, but are not limited to, purchases, referrals, and specific promotional actions, as detailed on the Members Club information page. The accrual, redemption, and specifics of these Rewards are subject to change at our discretion, in line with the Program's structure and objectives. Points earned expire after 12 months. 

Non-Transferability or Return of Rewards
Rewards earned through the Program are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other substitutes unless specifically permitted by the Program terms. The sale, barter, transfer, or assignment of any accumulated Rewards, other than by us, is expressly prohibited. Also, all products claimed or purchased using points are to be received as-is and there are no guarantees for returns or refunds for products which have been claimed through reward points.

Restrictions
Participants may not engage in any fraudulent or abusive activities aimed at unjustly accumulating Rewards. Such activities include, but are not limited to, creating multiple accounts for the same individual or engaging in deceptive practices to generate referrals. We reserve the right to monitor accounts for suspicious activity and may adjust Rewards or terminate accounts accordingly.

Adjustments to the Program
Clementine Sleepwear retains the unambiguous right to modify, pause, or terminate the Program at any time, without prior notice, for any reason we deem appropriate. This includes changes to the structure, rewards, and eligibility criteria of the Program. Participants will be informed of significant changes through updates to these Terms or other direct communications.

Limitation of Liability
Our liability in relation to the Program is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any errors or omissions in the administration of the Program, including but not limited to, errors in the allocation of Rewards to participants.

PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional codes, discounts, and limited-time offers (“Promotions”) are issued at Clementine’s discretion and are subject to change or cancellation at any time without prior notice. Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. Clementine reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any code at any time, including during sitewide events or sales. Promotional discounts are valid only for qualifying purchases made within the stated promotional period and cannot be applied retroactively to past orders

 

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update our privacy policy, returns and exchanges policies, or refund policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
