The Clementine Ballet Short Pajama Set brings the collection's signature ombré print to Clementine's comfort-fit short pajama — crafted in 100% organic silk with piping throughout and non-toxic inks. An embroidered monogram sits on the chest pocket of the top; a Clementine Ballet placement embroidery runs along the pants. Sold as complete set. In the world of New York City Ballet, movement is a dialogue between precision, discipline, and expression. We explored the NYCB Archives and Costume Shop, studying the most memorable performances and seeing first-hand the dedication of its atelier in bringing the stage to life with fashion. Here we found a hidden world in the middle of the city, and the idea for our capsule. A celebration of the artistry of ballet that goes beyond choreography and extends to the aesthetic. The Clementine Ballet capsule has been designed to bridge the creativity of the theater with the rhythm of the city, translated onto silk. The central red ombre is our contemporary take on the iconic tutu, as featured in many of New York City Ballet’s performances. The supporting motif pattern honors the shared synesthesia of fashion and dance. These limited edition pieces in 100% organic silk are our tribute to the history and enduring impact of New York City Ballet.

Fit notes
Expect true-to-size relaxed fit. If looking for a a very loose fit, size up +1.

Milana is 5' 9.5'' with 33'' bust and 24"" waist, wearing XS for a tighter fit.
Cindy is 5' 8" with a 29" bust and 23" waist - also in sleep mask and wearing XS for a tighter fit.

Designer's notes
The shorts have a flat front waistband with elastic at the back, offering some flexibility. Size down for a tighter fit, wear usual size for comfort fit, and size up for a relaxed slouchy look.
The top features a V-neckline and a relaxed shoulder fit. Since silk has no stretch, we recommend sizing up for fuller busts to ensure comfortable coverage and ease of movement.

CLEANING
Hand wash in cold water or machine wash on a delicate setting in a ‘silk-only’ load.

If hand washing, use a mild detergent. Gently massage the fabric for one minute to activate dirt removal and then leave to soak for the next four minutes. Rinse in fresh cold water.

DRYING
Lay flat or hang in the shade until dry, away from the sun. Ironing and steaming is optional – keep on a low setting

STORING
A cool and dry place is always best for storage. Neatly fold and store in your Clementine Sleepwear box.
