We explored the NYCB Archives and Costume Shop, studying the most memorable performances and seeing first-hand the dedication of its atelier in bringing the stage to life with fashion. Here we found a hidden world in the middle of the city, and the idea for our capsule. A celebration of the artistry of ballet that goes beyond choreography and extends to the aesthetic. The Clementine Ballet capsule has been designed to bridge the creativity of the theater with the rhythm of the city, translated onto silk. The central red ombre is our contemporary take on the iconic tutu, as featured in many of New York City Ballet’s performances. The supporting motif pattern honors the shared synesthesia of fashion and dance. Our sleep masks have been sized up to maximize blockout and ensure complete comfort. Larger than most other sleep mask brands (face coverage measures around 9 in x 4 in or 23 cm x 10 cm).

Clementine sleep masks contour the face comfortably and allow for sleeping on any side. The elastic strap at the back allows for flexibility to fit most head sizes. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been removed from their box. Each strap is hand cut to 13 in at rest, expanding to 22-23 in when expanded.

CLEANING
Hand wash in cold water. Because of the silk inner filling, we recommend spot cleaning your mask where possible.

If hand washing, use a mild detergent. Gently massage the fabric for one minute to activate dirt removal and then leave to soak for the next four minutes. Rinse in fresh cold water.

DRYING
Lay flat or hang in the shade until dry, away from the sun. Ironing and steaming is optional – keep on a low setting

STORING
A cool and dry place is always best for storage. Neatly fold and store in your Clementine Sleepwear box.
